"Hello there, welcome back to GRTV News, I'm Alex as usual taking you through the afternoons latest and greatest when it comes to gaming, technology, entertainment, whatever you like, whatever you love, we always have it here for you at GRTV News and in the wider GameReactor Network as a whole, so if you like what you see and you want to see more, be sure to check out GameReactor wherever you get it from for more gaming reviews, gaming previews, movie reviews, series reviews, exclusive content, interviews and even more than that if you can believe it but without further ado, today we're talking Warcraft, we're talking the 30th anniversary which is next month which is kind of insane, 1994 marks the release of the first Warcraft game and obviously it's grown to be something entirely massive since then, way beyond probably what even Blizzard expected it to be, maybe what they hoped it would be but you know, no one I don't think could have predicted how big Warcraft is and to celebrate that, Blizzard is hosting a Warcraft Direct next month as it says in the title here done by lovely Ben, however we, last year we got to see a Blizzcon, a big sort of in-person convention, I was there, as someone who wasn't really into Warcraft that much I can tell you that the atmosphere created by that event was insane and the amount of people that showed their true dedication is something that I will remember forever and just something that reminded me of how much, how popular something can be even if you're not personally into it so you know, even if you're not a Warcraft fan I think it's worth remembering how big this is and how big it is that it's lasted for 30 years. In any case, so there's no real, apart from the date which is the 13th of November, we don't really know much about what's going to be on the Warcraft Direct, we know that it's going to have news on World of Warcraft, we know it's going to have news on Hearthstone, we know it's going to have news on Warcraft Rumble, it could have something else tied in there considering it's the 30 year anniversary of Warcraft itself, not just World of Warcraft which celebrated 20 years this year, or Hearthstone or Warcraft Rumble, Hearthstone got 10 years as well this year so it seems like 2024 is a massive year for Warcraft just in general. We'd imagine there's a new Hearthstone expansion coming out or will have been released so I imagine that it's mostly going to be news around that, nothing major I don't think for Hearthstone, Warcraft Rumble launched last year, it was properly unveiled at Blizzcon as I said and it's sort of the mobile Warcraft game, I don't think this will take up most of the time, I'd imagine it will mostly be about World of Warcraft and perhaps even some sort of maybe a new Warcraft game or something like that. 30 years certainly feels like a time to announce something massive if you are going to go that route. I very much doubt that we'll be getting just small announcements as I know there's not, it doesn't seem like there's an excuse to hold a massive Blizzcon sized event but there's certainly going to be something that's big enough for there to be a Direct in the first place. We'll likely hear more on the upcoming expansions as well to complete the World Soul Saga which started with the War Within this year. Let me know what you think you're going to see at Warcraft 30, the Direct, let me know if you would have preferred a Blizzcon, I certainly would have got to go to sunny LA instead of being stuck in rainy Manchester for the month of November."
