"Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of GRTV News. Today we're going to be talking a little bit about an event that is happening later this week. Xbox is hosting something, it's not a huge thing, bear in mind, so I wouldn't necessarily get too excited about this, but it's still an event, so if you're looking for some gaming news then it's definitely worth checking out. It's going to be happening on Thursday, so in a couple of days' time, and it's mainly focused, or I say mainly focused, it's entirely focused on partner or third-party stuff, so we're talking things that don't come from the Xbox Game Studios family. As for what is going to be featured, well, let's dive in and have a look. So yes, Microsoft announces an Xbox partner event taking place this Thursday, with promised 25 minutes of games and world premieres. So as you know, there are many exciting games coming in the next few months, and now Microsoft announces via thread that they will show off some more of them in the 25-minute Xbox partner preview event on Thursday."
"Since it's a partner event, we will only be treated to third-party projects, and via Xbox Wire, Microsoft mentions some specific titles and also promises world premieres. You'll get a first look at gameplay from Alan Wake 2's next expansion, The Lakehouse, an action-packed new trailer for Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a peek at multiple bosses in dark fantasy action game Wuchang Fallen Feathers, multiple world premieres, and other great titles coming to Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and Game Pass. The event kicks off at 6pm BST, 7pm CEST on October 17th, and we will, as usual, be covering everything that happens here at Game Reactor. If you want to follow it live, you can do so on Twitch or YouTube, as for anything in particular you hope will be showcased. So yeah, partner preview event coming up very, very soon."
"So we're going to look at a 25-minute long show where we know for a fact there's going to be Wuchang Fallen Feathers, Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and Alan Wake, The Lakehouse. Now we can pretty much assume that we're going to get the release date for Alan Wake 2, The Lakehouse. The last time they did the release date for an expansion, for an Alan Wake 2 expansion, they shadow dropped it. So maybe that's an example or a taste of what's to come this time as well. Otherwise, if it's a 25-minute show and we know we're going to get those three games, the Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza stuff, we've seen a lot of gameplay for this already, so it wouldn't necessarily surprise me if the trailer for this game is quite long as well. So I don't know whether we'll see much more beyond these three games. They do say and other great titles coming to Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and Game Pass, but they're probably only small things. Maybe we'll get an announcement in regards to the next Game Pass drop, something like that, but I don't think this is going to be one of those shows that they have something really surprising in store lined up beyond what they've already announced. But again, if you're looking for some video game news, it's definitely worth checking out this part of the preview when it takes place in a couple of days' time.
